 Stone Island
Stone Island is a little paradise with endless coconut groves and one long uninterrupted beach located on a peninsula south of Mazatlan. Stone Island can be accessed either via highway or via small shuttle boats from the mainland. At the moment, Stone Island has very limited real estate options as most of its terrain is classified as so-called Ejido property, which is an equivalent of communal land. However, there are many initiatives under way aimed at privatizing the area and making it available to investors. At the moment, there is one real estate project located on the Island, which offers beachfront and golf course houses and condominiums. Real estate prices start in mid US$350.
